April has been designated as Nation Child Abuse Prevention and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

During the month of April, sexual assault programs across the state and the nation will intensify their efforts to promote public awareness of sexual assault issues, such as child abuse and rape. They will stress the need for citizen involvement in reducing sexual assault and abuse against children and the importance of increasing community support for agencies providing sexual assault crisis and educational services, such as the Children’s Advocacy Center of Bristol County.

We hope you will join us at one of the proclamations scheduled with our county’s largest cities this April.
